Sawtooth Mountain Hiking Trip
This was a trip to the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho. To get there, you fly into Boise, rent a car,
and then drive three hours through the Boise National Forest until you get to the mountains.
Stanley Lake Trail
There was a large wildfire in 2024 that burned many of the trees in this area.
The Town of Stanley
The town of Stanley is a small, remote village that has a few hotels and restaurants and
is the home base for hikers looking to explore the Sawtooth Mountains.

Hell Roaring Trail
The goal was to hike to Imogene Lake, but unfortunately there were thunderstorms all afternoon.
I cut the hike short after getting rained, sleeted, and hailed on.

Back to Boise
The entire last day of the trip was rained out, so I headed back to Boise early. I ended up
walking a majority of the greenbelt, a paved hike and bike path that follows the river through
downtown Boise.
Table Rock
A popular hiking area in the hills that gives great views of Boise.
